Dodington ward by-election

The Dodington ward by-election is gaining steam with candidate's from the Tories, Labour, UKIP and lets try not forget the LibDems and if your wondering why we are in this mess well that's because of the LibDems again. A young and hoodwinked Councillor quit over the student fees fiasco.
So lets look at the candidates
The Tories look like they think it's lost anyway looking at their flyer. The do-nothing Party could of least spent some money on sprucing up their campaign.
Labour has spent more money on their flyer's than the Tories and must think they have a chance of winning this time and they may be right with the Tory/LibDem government is such a mess.
The UKIP guy doesn't even live in Yate and the less said about UKIP the better.
And lets try not forget the LibDems who are worse than the do-nothing Party at least with them you know you will not get anywhere with them so why bother trying. The LibDems will tell you they are fully behind you and then completely revise the decision like the hoodwinked Councillor found out to his horror.

ReportI wonder how our local negative correspondent got the idea that Dafydd quit over student fees? As Mallik7 has said, he's got engaged and will be travelling. He then aims to take a new career. He resigned from South Glos as soon as his circumstances changed so that we wouldn't be without representation at a time when some crucial decisions are being taken for our area.

ReportG,day mate's,
For the first time in my life I will not be Voting, there's knowone worth voting for.
St Nicholas youth centre will eventually close after the Election, they are just making hollow promises to get your votes and once they are in they will look at how much money they can start creaming off in Travelling and Subsistence Allowances and just before the next Council elections I'll tell you how much that councillor has been creaming off.
At one time councillors had day jobs, but not any more.
