Evans looks to add more glory to his wishlist

IT has been a good couple of weeks for Josh Evans.

On top of the relief of finally finishing his GCSE exams at Cotham School, the 17-year-old has won the inter boys' 400m title at the Avon and South West Schools' Championships so will travel with the Avon squad to Gateshead for the English Schools' Championships with high hopes.
Last, and certainly not least, Evans won the Easy Runner/adidas athlete of the month competition for May, earning himself a prized pair of adizero shoes.
"That's great news, I'm really pleased with that," said Evans, who is a member of Yate & District AC and is coached by Sandra Woodman.
"Now I'm looking for a good result at the English Schools. That and the England Athletics Championships are my big aims for the season."
