Greggs Comes Toe Beeches Industrial Estate in Yate

Bakery chain Greggs has opened a 2,000 sq ft unit at a Bristol industrial estate.

The move is part of a nationwide programme launched by Greggs will involve outlets in places other than high street locations.

The bakery, which has already opened units in similar non-retail locations in Avonmouth, Bridgwater, Exeter, Swansea and Cardiff, is set to open its doors at Beeches Industrial Estate in Yate.

Chris Davies, leasing manager at industrial property landlords SEGRO who maintain the site of the new outlet, said: "This is part of a growing trend across our estates of providing good-quality food outlets within easy access of our customers. SEGRO already works with Greggs at our estates in Slough and Heywood and Trafford Park in Manchester."
