Yate and Chipping Sodbury students helped South Gloucestershire have another successful A Level year.

Council's member for children and young people, Sheila Cook, said: "The indications are that it has been another hugely successful year for A-levels in South Gloucestershire and I want to praise the hard work of students, teachers and parents for the achievements."

Many students in the Yate and Chipping Sodbury area celebrated success last night as the school continues to develop and grow.

Level students from the Ridings Federation did extremely well. Winterbourne International Academy achieved a 45 per cent success rate of students achieving all grades between A*-B whilst at Yate International Academy the figure was 36 per cent.

Top high achiever at Chipping Sodbury School was Stephen Ingram, who achieved two A* and three A grades. An amazing achievement.

Brimsham Green students also improved the school's average point score per entry and per student.

Now comes the hard part, what to do once you have your results. Whether your celebrating success, or you're trying to find some light at the end of this exam period.
