Lorries to continue to go through Rangeworthy

It's not good news for residence of Rangeworthy and in particular Wooton Road.

No stop to lorries in Rangeworthy
The council rejected proposals to stop Morrison's using the depot in Armstrong Way as their hub for frozen food in the South West.
Residents in Rangeworthy were campaigning to stop the large numbers of heavy good vehicles using the road. The council took the decision not to stop Morrison's using the depot as the costs the council would incur to pay out Morrison's would be too great.
It is such a shame for the residents as I know with any house you invest in, you never envisage your idyllic homestead being invaded by heavy goods Lorries. It is tough for those on the other side also, those drivers whose livelihood relies on the depot and the work in and out of the area.
It is a double edged sword as to whose cause is greater but I am sure the lorry drivers would not want such vehicles travelling past their homes?!
