Rear Access Roads

Now that there are more cars per household, do you find the parking in our access roads is becoming a problem.
Do you find parked cars in the turning circle which are prohibiting delivery vans manoeuvring and having to use your driveway to turn around. This situation is made worse on evenings and weekends of course with homeowners at home.
If you live in South Yate you will understand that this road is your only access by car to your home, since the front of the property is for prodestion use only.
Since the rear road is for public use and owned by the local authorities, do you not agree this situation should be rectified and parking restricted to a sensible level, not only to prevent damage to the private driveway but more importantly, to avoid a problem for a Fire Engine gaining access.
Comments
A large part of this is caused by commercial vans being parked in residential roads rather than at the workplace.
