Is the White Lion In Yate at Risk?

Is the White Lion the next Yate pub in danger?

As I was driving around Yate yesterday I noticed that the White Lion pub had a lease sign out side.

Does this mean that the current occupiers are selling up or is it simply just changing management?

I am hoping that some locals to the area and the pub itself will be able to tell us.

I would hate to think that Yate are about to loose yet another traditional pub. It won't be long until we see Wetherspoons opening its doors in the shopping centre and I would hate to think that we are going to see another pub crumble and a chain such as Wetherspoons take over its customers.

If any one knows what the plan for the White Lion is, please let us know.
