Yate's Total Petrol In Need Of A Revamp

The Total petrol station which is situated next to the new Tesco store is looking in a sorry state.

With the recent renovations of the Tesco store, the petrol station dilapidated state is really starting to show. Although before Tesco's revamp it was looking in need of a facelift, not the store is complete and the exterior has been brought into the 21st century too, the petrol station looks as though it is past its best.

There were once rumours that the petrol station was going to be taken over by Tesco; those rumours have yet to come to fruition. You would think that Tesco would have put in an offer for the petrol station as it is in a prime location but it seems not at the moment.

You can see why the petrol station owners would want to hold out and carry on the station. With the volume of shopping traffic created by the new superstore, the flow through the station is bound to increase.

Let's hope that with the increased traffic, some of the money made by the petrol station goes to improving it.
