BUMPER FUN WEEK AT YATE SHOPPING CENTRE FOR HALF TERM BREAK

Yate Shopping Centre will be holding a bumper week of children's activities during the October half term break culminating with a Tesco family fun day on Saturday, 29th October.

Andrew Lowrey, Yate Shopping Centre Manager, said: "The next few weeks is all about encouraging shoppers to visit the centre so that the traders benefit from what we hope will be a record breaking Christmas period. With this in mind, we have put together a varied and exciting programme for the half term break and Halloween."

The Tesco temporary store at Yate Shopping Centre will close for business at 4pm on Sunday, 16th October in order to enable works to be completed for the opening of the new Tesco Extra on Monday, 24th October.

However, Tesco will be running a free bus service to their Thornbury store during the week before the new store opening at 8am on Monday, 24th October.

During half term week, Yate Shopping Centre will stage various children fun days including appearances Peppa Pig on Tuesday, 25th October, calypso band Funky Hair on Wednesday, 26th, Meet Yojojo & Lau Lau on Thursday, 27th, pumpkin carving and face painting on Friday, 29th, and culminating with the Tesco family fun day on Saturday, 29th October.
