EAST WALK DEVELOPMENT COMPLETION NEARS

The target dates for the opening of the three new retail units in East Walk, Yate Shopping Centre have been announced.

Completion of the three units is scheduled for 19th March when the units will be handed over to their operators for fit-out.

It is anticipated Costa Coffee will open for business week beginning 22nd April; Sports Direct during mid-may; and Marks & Spencer Simply Food during week beginning 3rd June.

Andrew Lowrey, Yate Shopping Centre Manager, said: "The dates are still indicative but the contractors will be working flat-out to meet them and we see no reason why this schedule should not be achieved. "

Andrew added: "The opening of the new stores will provide a significant boost to the centre and further lettings to well known high street names will be announced shortly."
