Dear all
Tesco have now advised that the office will be open from the Monday the 22nd August. However applications can not be made direct at the office - vacancies will be displayed at the Job centre and on Tesco's website http://tinyurl.com/yquh from the 22nd August, applcations can be made either at the jobcentre or Tesco online.

Re The Tesco recruiting.
I went to the office again before the latest report from AndrewMLow came on line.
What a fiasco, if the Manager of the Shoping Center can't get the correct info. before bloging, what hope is there for us to believe anything that is going on.
I did however receive the same information from a very weary staff at the office, although why someone can not print a message to disply on the ground floor window is beyond comprehension.
Best of luck to all for ....what was it...... the 22nd. !! may be

I dont understand the first bit of info you gave us was that the office was " A recruitment office"
Now we have to apply on line?
Two dates given out for the office to open and nothing happens.
I cant see the point of a recruitment office opening if you cant apply in person, not everyone has internet access it discrimination.
I dont think i will bother now my heart is not in it anymore i will look elsewhere
But good luck to anyone who applies
Dear SLPCFP
Tesco have a lease to use the office as a "recruitment centre" from the 1st August, furthermore they advised us that the space would be used as "a base for the Managers to prepare for the opening and recruit for the new store".
It is unfortunate that there has been delays in the opening of the office, we will liaise with Tesco and advise them of the comments within this thread.

@AndrewMLow, looks like you are having a hard time, thanks for keeping everyone updated I know that you can ONLY give out information that you are told. If Tesco changes things then thats not your fault. I would have thought the office would be used for interviews? training? ect. after all displaying jobs is why we have a JOB CENTRE. Thanks again Andrew.
Any news on the other developments in the centre?
