Open Garden, Beechwell House

1-5pm, Beechwell House, 51 Goose Green

This award-winning town garden is filled with rare and exotic plants from around the world, including 8 different types of palm trees.

There also many types of Banana trees, Bamboos, tree ferns and succulents. See some plants here that you’ll only see at Eden or 2000 miles further south!

Entrance is £3 per adult (children free), and there’s delicious cream teas and cakes. All the money goes to worthy charities like Macmillan.

Beechwell House has also been featured recently in a number of national gardening magazines.
