Yate Library are planning to hold a couple of fund raising events next month (April) in order to help raise funds for the Cots for Tots appeal. The Library is trying to encourage Yate residents to help support the events which the Library have organised.

The first event that the library will be holding is a Quiz evening which will be held on Tuesday 12 April from 7:30pm. So if you can gather a group up to six people together then get down to the Yate Library where you can purchase tickets for just £1.50 per person. Soft drinks and nibbles will be provided but those taking part are welcome to bring their own wine.

The second event is a special coffee morning which is planned for Friday 15th April and starts at 10:30am.

All proceeds raised from both events will go to the Cots for Tots appeal which will help to support special care babies at St Michael’s hospital in Bristol.

The Cots for Tots appeal is currently trying to raise £1 million to purchase lifesaving cots and towards a new intensive care suite.
