John Bale fires De Veys to win over Iron Acton Reserves

Unbeaten De Veys came from behind to grab a 2-1 away win against lowly Iron Acton Reserves in a great game at Yate.
Rob Conley shot Acton in from but Danny Gould nipped in to level the scores at the end of an even first half.
Acton goalkeeper Glenn Murley kept the leaders at bay with a series of fine saves but had no chance of stopping a free-kick from John Bale, which sealed a last-minute victory. "The lads put everything into the game and I bought them all a drink afterwards," said Acton's manager Chris Wilmot.
Second-placed Carmel United stayed seven points behind after winning 2-1 at home to Bideford OB at muddy Filwood.
Playing for the first time since December 11, Carmel showed no sign of ring rustiness when scoring through Ashley Morgan and Lee Bowden in the opening nine minutes.The Old Boys improved in the second half and Aaron Burnett replied in the 75th minute but late pressure failed to produce an equaliser.
British Royal SC have yet to drop a point since joining the league this season but had to battle all the way before beating FC Bristol 2-0 at Eastville Park.
Nathan Hathway netted the opener with a bullet header and Paul Smith added the second from Brett Hurford's cross after FC Bristol goalkeeper Paul Clubb had pushed a penalty from Scott Garraway on to the post.
Long Ashton Reserves returned to form with a 9-0 home romp against luckless Wessex Wanderers A with the help of a hat-trick from Paul Williams.
Also on the mark for the hosts were Leigh MacIntyre (2), Leighton Badlam, Mike Croker, Elton Taylor and Courtney Morris, who crowned an outstanding display in midfield with a 30-yard screamer.
Lawrence Rovers Reserves fell behind to an early strike by James Carter for Golden Hill Reserves but bounced back to win 3-1 thanks to Tom Nightingale, Jamie Weston and Andy Slade.
