North Bristol Under-14s, who until last week had not won a game all season, were celebrating again this week after a 25-19 victory over Nailsea & Backwell.

The Almondsbury-based side trailed 14-0 at the break, but mounted a brave fightback and restricted Nailsea to just one second-half try, while they rattled up five tries of their own through centre Kieran Peacock (2), flanker Kieran Smart, No 8 Dan Greenfield and centre Ryan Weaver.

Wes Jones was in great form for St Mary's Under-14s in their 22-0 triumph over local rivals Cleve in the Gloucestershire Cup.

Austin Davis, George West, Cory Fieldhouse and Will Thompson all helped themselves to tries.

Carter Loveridge shone for Whitehall Under-14s, claiming a hat-trick of tries in their 45-7 victory over Gordano. Ashton Pullin, Ryan Williams and Connor Nelmes also crossed for tries, while Tom Baker landed four conversions.

Gordano Under-12s faired better and recorded their 10th victory of the season from eleven outings when they overcame Keynsham 25-15.

Lewis Leaker crossed for a brace of tries and Callum Corcoran, Louis Wall and Ben Greenslade added one try each.

Old Reds Under-16s' impressive form continues. Hornets were the latest club to be brushed aside by the Brislington team.

Reds dominated proceedings in the first half, but took their foot off the gas after the break. Reds scored four tries through a Rich Warren double and one each for Max Woodward and Mason Gill-Watkins in their 20-7 win.

Hornets Colts' march towards an unbeaten campaign is still a realistic possibility.

Chipping Sodbury were the latest team to feel the Hornets' sting as the Weston club recorded a 41-14 win. John McCarthy (3), Ali O'Connor (2), Rhys Matson and Reece Watson scored tries. Andy Lund kicked two conversions.

Joe Dorrington, Jack Nowell and Simon Coles bagged tries for Broad Plain Colts in their 15-7 home win over Chew Valley.

No 8 Mike Luxton went on the rampage in Frampton Cotterell Under-15s' second round Gloucestershire Cup match at Longlevens. The loose forward crossed the whitewash five times in Frampton's 36-0 victory.

Joe Maslem, Jacob and Oliver Golding, Morgan Reeson, Jaden Monks and George Clarke-Dove all scored tries for Kingswood Under-8s in their round robin tournament with Barton Hill and Whitehall. Mickey Oppery very sportingly played for Barts to help make up their numbers.
