Police appeal for witnesses following an assault in Yate

South Glos police are appealing for information following an assault in Yate in the early hours of Saturday morning.
At around half past midnight on Saturday morning the 27th Feb. the victim was standing at the kebab van on the Badminton Trading Estate, when he was approached by a group of males.
It is alleged that the victim, a 24 yr old man was then assaulted by the group, and sustained facial injuries in the incident.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident. They are particularly interested in speaking to a women, who it's thought intervened to stop the attack.
Three men, two seventeen year olds and a eighteen year old were arrested in connection with the incident.
