If you are caring for someone or know someone who is, the Saga Respite Carers Trust may provide a free holiday.
The carer should:
Be over 50yrs old.
Have been caring for someone for over one year.
Not have taken a significant holiday away from their caring responsibilities within the last year.
Not be a professional carer.
Already over 200 carers and friends have been selected for a free holiday as a break from their duties. The Saga Carers Trust provides a holiday for the carer and a friend to accompany them in a Saga Hotel anywhere in the world, it could be in Malta or even St. Lucia. The Saga Trust even provide spending money. Whilst the carer is away the fees for appropriate respite care is also taken care of.
