Can you spare the time to help spring clean our town?

The sun's shining and it's nice to get out in the open air now springs just around the corner, but there's lots of litter around to spoil the view.

Ridge Wood
The Friends of Yate Common are having a litter picking week-end on the 13th and 14th March. On Saturday the 13th between 10- 12 noon. and on Sunday the 14th between 2-4pm. Meet at the Reed Pond. Gloves and bags will be provided.
The Southwold group of the Avon Wildlife Trust are asking for volunteers to help clean up Wapley Bushes Nature Reserve on Sunday March 14th. Meet at the shire Way entrance at 10am and please bring gloves.
The Friends of Ridge Wood are having a spring cleaning event on the 21st March between 10-12noon.
