Just what you would expect
B&Q offers just about everythign that you would expect from such a well know high street name, including 10000's of stock lines, ample amounts of on site parking and staff that really know what they are talking about. but maybe they should use some of thier stock to tidy the store up a little.

Needs a Facelift!
B&Q YATE...needs an internal and external revamp! Not inspiring for the enthusiast of property development or interior design as B&Q looks dead from the outside. The shelves and displays are too "busy" due to the space constraints and this is most annoying trying to finds tools and fixings that could be anywhere and everywhere!

B&Q - Service with a smile!!
Whilst like most of the above posts, i agree the price argument will be ongoing and consistant throughout every department, chain, or area of the domestic or commercial market and B&Q are not always best. However, the differentiating factor for me recently was the service delivered by the Showrooms department. With enquiries about specific details of cisterns and flushing problems, the staff were helpful and knew what they were talking about and surprisingly offered a cheaper alternative to what had been suggested elsewhere...and worked. Thanks
