This summer is soon to be hijacked with football fever. Not only will Eastenders and Coronation Street be juggled around the TV schedule, and we will never know what time the news will be on thanks to extra time and penalties, but we will soon be wall to wall with football whether we are fans or not!

Yate World Cup Pub - The Lawns
If we have to watch football this summer and if you enjoy a dose of world cup fever, where is the best place in Yate to soak up the team atmosphere?
The Fox on Broad Lane are celebrating this year’s world cup with a range of speciality beers to enjoy throughout the summer. They have specially chosen a range of beers available throughout May and June. In addition to their celebratory drinks menu, you can dine on their ‘Two for One menu’, a perfect bargain summer night out.
But what if you want to watch the ‘big’ games with fellow fans? Head to The Lawns on Church Road who are screening the games on their big screen. Where better to celebrate the big England games.
Where are you watching the world cup this summer? And what pub in Yate has the best World Cup atmosphere?
