  If any one else like me was driving through Yate last night you would have been greeted by Police and a road closed sign at the roundabout by B and Q and the exit to Weterleigh road.   There were no signs there at the time but I have now learnt that the road was closed due to a gas leak.   When I was driving through last night, there were gas and police on site dealing with the incident but the road was still closed...

After seven years of campaigning and petitioning, a weight limit has now been set for lorries travelling along station road.
