Has the weather dampened the start of your summer in Yate?

Have you been beaten by the weather this summer in Yate? I know the summer is still young but it seems that many of our outdoor activities planned in the hope of a sizzling summer have been affected by the damp weather this year.

Yate residents have shown true British spirit so far and not let the weather ruin our fun too much. This was proven at both our Jubilee celebrations and Yate Community Music Festival. Despite the weather, Yate was out in force and still managed to have a great time at both events.

Yate still has many more outdoor events planned this summer and I hoping that for at least some we get some sunshine and not showers. The teddy bears picnic is coming up soon and is always a great event in Yate and even better on a glorious day.
